Event Details

Date & Time: Friday, October 17th at 6:30 PM

Location: Downtown Bartow Friday Fest

Registration Fee: $15 per child (includes optional commemorative t-shirt)

What's Included: Family-friendly fun run where kids can collect candy along the way, optional commemorative t-shirt, and costume prizes

Special Notes: Costumes are encouraged! Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes after the race.

⚠️ Important Liability Waiver

RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT

By participating in the Junior Service League of Bartow's Trick or Treat Candy Run event, I, the undersigned parent/guardian, acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I understand that participation in this event involves inherent risks of physical activity, including but not limited to running, walking, and outdoor activities. I acknowledge that these activities carry the risk of injury, including serious injury or death, and I voluntarily assume all such risks.

2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: I hereby release, waive, and discharge the Junior Service League of Bartow, its officers, directors, members, volunteers, agents, and all other persons associated with this event from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, damages, costs, expenses, and liability of any kind arising out of or related to my child's participation in this event, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or death.

3. MEDICAL CONSENT: I understand that the Junior Service League of Bartow does not provide medical insurance for participants. I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of my child's participation in this event.

4. PHOTOGRAPHIC RELEASE: I consent to the use of photographs or videos of my child taken during the event for promotional purposes by the Junior Service League of Bartow.

5. ACKNOWLEDGMENT: I have read and understand this waiver and release of liability. I understand that by checking the box below, I am giving up substantial legal rights and am doing so voluntarily.
